Closing Out The year Strong!

It seems strange to talk about closing the year out. After all, we are still in the middle of summer. The major league baseball season is still in full swing and school hasn’t even started back in most parts of the country. 

But consider this – after Labor Day, there will only be 14 more weeks of productivity in 2019. Fourteen weeks! If you are hoping to win in Q4, your starting line is the beginning of September, not October and if you aren’t gearing up for a strong push by the first couple of weeks of August, you’re behind the eight-ball. 

If you don’t have a plan yet, here are a couple of things to think through:

  • Are the processes in place inside your practice to connect with, close for care, and treat patients for your targeted services? Is the team focused on perfecting the last 20% of each process to be exceptional versus being satisfied with “good enough”?
  • How often does the team meet to review strengths and opportunities to improve as it relates to your processes? Is everyone bought in to continuously improving until they become world class?
  • How are you planning to recruit patients to your practice? Are you engaging your existing/previous patients?
  • Do you have a strategy to connect with people actively searching for your services? Finally, how are you reaching out to patients who may be suffering with a condition you can treat that haven’t reached the point of active search?

As the summer wraps up, it’s time to get ready to win in Q4. Taking the time now to prepare will put you in a great spot to achieve your goals in the last part of 2019, and to be successful in 2020, too!
